Golygfeydd dros Llandysul / Llandysul views

Es i am dro bore ‘ma, dyma rhai lluniau tynnes i o Llandysul. / I went for a walk this morning and took some photos of Llandysul.

This picture shows a little of the Llandysul Paddlers Lake, it shows Llandysul Memorial Park with the Bowls club and Cricket Club to the left.  Then the library, Tysul Church and then the mansion to the right is Dôl-Llan. Somewhere in there the River Teifi snakes around the church, park and lake but just can’t see it.

Looking toward Capel Dewi and the Clettwr Valley, can just make out two lots of wind turbines. Look to the left of the skyline and to the right

Looking towards Llandysul and can see Aweldeg (old age people’s home), Capel Seion and just to the right Telynau Teifi – The Harp Centre of Wales.

Ysgol Dyffryn Teifi which has educated the young of Llandysul a’r Fro for over 100 years.

The school’s days are numbered as Ceredigion County Council plan to build a super school for 3-18 year olds in the next few years, outside of Llandysul.

What will happen to this area? Housing? Supermarket? No one seems to be talking about this. It will have to be sold and developed to pay towards the new school buildings of course.

Llandysul Enterprise Park: Gwasg Gomer Press building to the right and the rest of the business park. I think it’s West Wales Rally Spares to the left.
